Mike is a qualified teacher and experienced educational manager specialising in the fields of lifelong learning and alternative provision. His ‘learning without walls’ ethos has won numerous national awards and assisted learners in identifying and achieving their goals and ambitions.

Cathy is a qualified teacher and assessor and has worked with children and young people in a range of ways as a teacher, assessor, childminder and foster carer. She is a governor in a local primary school and Chairperson of a local pre-school.

Sandy is our admin and organiser. She wlll often be your first contact with The Breadkitchen and she manages our emails, phonecalls and diary. Sandy is an experienced administrator and we couldn’t do without her!

Jo is a mother of 4 children with SEN needs and disabilities. She volunteers at her local community centre twice a week, she is creative, well organised and passionate about her job and puts her heart and soul into creating a lovely space for the children who use our provision.

Emily is our dynamic volunteer coordinator and children’s support worker. As a mother of 5 with previous teaching assistant experience, Emily is also a keen and experienced gardener, chicken whisperer and feeder of treats to all our furry and feathered family.

Will is our go to handy man, site maintenance expert and all round land miracle worker. As a accomplished musician, dad of 5 and animal lover, Will is always there to help our two and four legged family members.

Lui is our newest and youngest member of the team and our resident king of ferrets. He brings a wealth of animal care knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm not just for our 4 legged family but for all of our projects.

Ros has taught in primary schools for over thirty years, both state and private, several in deprived social areas. She has a range of experience in the classroom managing and leading the work of others in school, particularly in maths, touch typing for dyslexic pupils and as a mentor and appraiser for less experienced members of staff.
